Before starting Honeycrisp Ventures, Ben was a Partner at Rockford Development Group, a nationally recognized development company. During Ben's tenure at Rockford, the team completed development projects of over $50,000,000 annually. During this time, Ben created a niche in executing value add investments through existing, underutilized real estate assets and began personally investing in projects.
He was heavily involved in the day-to-day operations – overseeing Property Management, negotiating leases, investor reporting, and tenant relations. Ben also refined his financial modeling capabilities and deal-sourcing techniques during this time. Ben worked closely on all property types, including raw land, industrial, office, retail, and multifamily properties.

Patti Kelly is the Director of Operations for Honeycrisp Ventures. She is a licensed real estate broker with nearly a decade of experience in the real estate industry.
Before joining Honeycrisp Ventures, Patti was a Transaction coordinator for Rockford Construction, coordinating over $75,000,000 of property closings and establishing protocols for leasing and selling property. She understands the life cycle of a deal and how to plug the right people in at the right time to maximize results.
Her expertise is bringing deals over the finish line. Whether it is a lease, property sale, or acquisition, Patti combines the pieces to achieve a smooth and positive experience for our clients.

Chris is the Director of Sales and Leasing for Honeycrisp Ventures and is a licensed real estate agent. Chris started in the commercial banking industry at a national bank, where he worked through complicated insurance and estate deals and earned his MBA in Strategic management during his tenure. He then worked most of his sales career in the building products industry in West Michigan, growing relationships and leading a sales team. He was nationally recognized for his business growth and sales development efforts. Before working at Honeycrisp, Chris worked with a building company and developer and managed the sales of multi-million-dollar homes and developments.
Chris enjoys growing relationships and takes a client-first approach to solve problems. He is excited to help Honeycrisp clients with their real estate and business development needs.
